8ft Antique Snooker Dining Table. G Wright. B1011 *SOLD*
An 8ft antique snooker dining table by George Wright. One of the best tables we have ever had the pleasure of working on.
Crafted from solid mahogany, with beautiful tulip legs, and detailed carvings.
This table is circa 1890, and features a rare ‘wind-up’ mechanism, with a winding handle and gears.
By winding the handle, the table height can be raised and lowered as required, to suit playing or dining heights.
This table comes with a three- piece bolted slate bed, giving a superior playing experience .
Most snooker diners have a thinner one-piece slate bed, with the cushions attached to the wooden subframe by screws.
This table has a thicker three- piece slate bed, the cushions are attached by bolts that go directly into the slate and into a captive nut.
