We are currently restoring this lovely antique Riley snooker diner in oak.

The beauty of the snooker-diner is that they convert from dining table to playing table, quickly and easily.  A great space-saving piece of furniture for any home!

Restoration of antique snooker table with barleytwist legs.

This is an 8ft Riley antique snooker dining table, shown during restoration.  The woodwork has been stripped of the old polish, and the legs are being French polished by hand.

We have repaired the dining table leaves, and they will also be French polished. More photos coming soon.

At Brown’s Antiques we specialise in antique snooker tables, antique billiards tables and antique snooker dining tables.

We carefully restore these antique tables by hand, using traditional restoration methods, high quality materials and French polishing.  We restore these tables to the customer’s specification, taking into account their preference for colour and sheen of wood, colour of baize etc.

Images showing the restoration of an antique snooker diner by Burgess. This antique table has been stripped and will be French polished by hand. the cloth will be replaced, and cushions will be re-covered and re-rubbered.

The beautiful sunny weather means much of the restoration can take place outside.
