Geo. Wright 7ft wind-up Mahogany Snooker Diner. B784
A very rare wind-up snooker dining table by the maker George Wright. Circa 1890.
This 7ft mahogany table has a unique rise and fall mechanism. The mechanical gearing system, operated by a winding handle, extends the length of the legs so that the table can change from playing height to dining height, whilst supporting the slate at all times.
Features include a one inch thick bolted slate, four fantastic tulip carved legs, four beautiful mahogany dining leaves with double bull-nose moulding.
We have French polished this table, and the cushions have been re-rubbered. We will provide new, aged nets, and re-c0ver in traditional green cloth. Alternative colour cloth is available for a small fee.
We will turn up the missing wooden cushion buttons to match the originals that remain.
